Moongate

The Moongate is a regular feature of  a chinese garden. Its practical purpose is to frame a view of particular beauty. It is wide to allow an individual´s aura to pass through with comfort. The elevation at the bottom of the gate stops evil spirits. In passing through it is necessary to bow the head, a gesture of humility. In a wider sense passing through the gate symbolises the beginning of all life.

We felt that these ideas were also appropriate for the entry to our family website.

A man asked me why I lived in among the green hills and I just smiled with my heart completely at rest.

I see the peach blossom growing wild, petals falling into the water then floating away.

Yes, here by these hills I live, like no other place on earth.
